Hi,

Here is the note I got from Vic upon my inquiry as to his uncharacteristic absence, "Thanks for reaching out and say hello to everyone for me. I miss you guys as well . The problem is with my left shoulder and neck. I am going in for an MRI on the 18th . so hopefully the doc will have a plan of action. . Actually I have had issues for the past year but thought it healed and it really flared up - so its too painful to play.  

I picked up Matt today , he will be visiting for the week then going back on the 23rd.  

Hopefully I can return soon. I enjoy playing so much and this really bums me out but I don't have a choice right now.

Hi, just reminding you that the club is closed tomorrow. See you next week. Happy Easter.

Hi, first, I'm sending this early notice so you know that we DO NOT have courts reserved at FCRC next Sunday.

Second, Ann shared this update on her recovery. "My hamstring is feeling better. Still a bit sore but doing my exercises everyday. I have not tried to play yet, a little nervous to try to run, but hope to try in the next week or so. Would love to come back and play hopefully in a few weeks."

We are pulling for her to get fully functional ASAP.

Third, because we're being teased with this stretch of good weather it's time to think about transitioning to playing outside on Thursdays and Sundays. That change usually happens in late April or early May. Let me remind you that the guidelines have been that the temperature should be above 50 degrees, and the weather should be dry and the wind relatively calm.

Jonna and I are back from Jamaica, a wonderful respite from the wintery blasts we left behind two Tuesdays ago. We played a lot of tennis, but the only good thing I can report is that the pros at the resort where we stay completely agree with Dave Wilde about all the stuff that's wrong with my game! Oh, well, see you tomorrow.
